All Classes--ACE/BDF-- Final Assessment covering the 3rd and 4th Quarters is May 26th for BDF classes and May 27th for ACE classes. Thers is a study guide that was given out today and is available for all other students on Monday. There will be study sessions at 7:15 each morning --Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Homework for ACE classes due Tuesday is to complete the War/Holocaust terms and concepts sheet. Same assignment due Wednesdy for BDF. All students going on teen arts must get their assignments before leaving or after returning on Monday.

There is no homework for any class ACE or BDF after the completion of the written assessment taken in class on Thursday for ACE classes and Friday for BDF classes. There will also be no homework given next week during NJ ASK testing.
The Social Studies final exam dates have been set. The exam will be given on May 26 and May 27. It will cover all units of study from Quarters 3 and 4.

There is no written homework over spring break for all classes. However, there will be an assessment on the work done on Louisiana Purchase, and all work done on War of 1812, Slavery and War terms, Bleeding Kansas worksheet, A Brief History-1820--1860, Slaves refuse to give in to masters (worksheet). The assessment will be on Thursday April 28(ACE classes) and Friday April 29 (BDF classes).

Read over the handout--"A Brief History".
For homework --ACE classes--Map work--using the map handed out(and the map worksheet) complete the 8 directed activities. This is due Tuesday 4/12/11.
BDF classes will get this assignment on Monday--4/11/11 and will be due on Wednesday 4/13/11.
For appropriate maps--google free and slave states--go to images and select a map that contains the necessary information. there are dozens of maps to select from.
