  Mid term assessment for BDF classes and ACE classes.  There is also a notebook check due at the time of the assessment.  Otherwise there is no homework.

   There is a change regarding the upcoming midterm assessment.  The assessment will be divided into 2 specific sections and given over 2 days.  The first part will be as scheduled--geography and immigration units -- ACE classes will take it on 1/28/10 and BDF classes on 1/27/10.  The 3rd component will be on the lecture and information on Colonial America and Clash of the Empires.

It will be given the week after next week.  It will involve writing a historical essay.  You will be allowed to use your Cornell Notes for this assessment.  More information to follow.

  Summary statement for today's lecture.  Continue preparations/studying for mid term assessment nextweek.  There will be a notebook check next week due on the day you take the exam.

  All classes should be preparing for the midterm assessment scheduled for January 27 and 28. 

  Use the study guide handed out last week as the basis for organizing and studying the information.

 Write summary statement for  lecture notes.

 Bring to class next period your materials for your upcoming midterm assessment.  You will be 

 given time to begin to organize and review the information.  The assessment dates for Social

 Studies are 1/27 and 1/28 2010.

    Review lecture notes on French explorations.  Prepare for a possible check-up.  Write a summary statement on today's lecture notes.  You have your midterm assessment study guide for the mid term assessment on January 27(BDF) 28(ACE).  Begin your study preparations now--there is too much to go over to wait until January 24 to start studying.
